What happens to society when you can no longer trust what you see, hear and read?

As a world, we have become so reliant on digital technology, and the number of people who have access to the internet continues to grow year after year. Will any of this matter?

What if 80% of the content on the internet is synthetically generated? Does that make it useless? Actually, some synthetic content might be very beneficial. But the ability to create this content from automation has not escaped the purview of nefarious sources.

In fact, the tools have gotten so good, we have now democratized the ability to create synthetic media. If created by an organization or person with evil intent, this type of content can be quite dangerous to us as individuals, businesses and government agencies.

Enter: GetReal Labs.

We believe it is important to defend against these attacks – however and wherever the attackers are attempting these malicious exploitations. That’s why GetReal’s products work in real-time, as a workbench and as a service, and for forensic analysis. GetReal also works across images, video and audio and is able to determine not only whether something is synthetically generated, but also whether the content is malicious. 

The ability to “hack” a workforce is upon us. It’s actually easier than hacking a network. As the bad actors continue to see success with this new attack vector, the number of attacks will only increase. GetReal Labs was created to protect its users against those that have chosen to weaponize information.
